Rod Forbes has practiced law since 1990.  He is a graduate of Indiana University and the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis.  He is licensed to practice law in all state courts and U. S. District Courts in both Indiana and Illinois.  Rod is a member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Tippecanoe County Bar Association and National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR).

Rod practices in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death claims, including automobile accidents, defective products, motorcyle accidents, trucking accidents, falls and nursing home negligence.  He also handles social security disability claims.  From 1994 through 2002, Rod represented children and adults with hemophilia who contracted HIV/AIDS and/or Hepatitis B from the use of factor concentrate--a biologic that hemophiliacs used to help clot their blood to prevent bleeds.  Rod represented them in their fight for justice against major pharmaceutical companies who processed factor concentrate.

He has lectured in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, civil trial practice and disabililty.  He has also lectured to nursing students regarding nursing and hospital negligence.  Rod has litigated and tried cases in Indiana and Illinois.

Rod also is active in the community.  He coaches youth sports, raises money for Habitat for Humanity and serves on the board of directors of Red Storm Athletics and the West Lafayette Little League Baseball.
